Summary
This is a story about a little boy named Nicki. Nicki wants his grandmother to make him white mittens. Initially, she doesn’t want to because she is afraid he will lose them in the snow, but she eventually gives in. Nicki does end up losing one of his new mittens, and it becomes the cozy resting place of several animals in woods.
